About the Teacher
Peter Brown has been teaching color workshops for many years. He is a full-time faculty member at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida since 1989. Peter has a B.S. in Human Development from the University of Massachusetts, and an M.F.A. in Painting from Indiana University. He is a nationally exhibiting artist and teaches Color Theory, Design, Drawing, Painting, and Figure Drawing. He was the Director of the Foundation Studies Program at Ringling for ten years. Peter is the recipient of two Florida Individual Artist Fellowships.
